Over the years we have seen thousands of plastic bags littering our sidewalks, streets, trees, waterways and countryside. Our gallery presents a handful of the hundreds we have photographed. It's a powerful reminder of how prevalent plastic, (and paper) bag litter has gotten - look around, they're everywhere!

Each year billions of plastic bags end up littering our landscapes, streets, beaches, lakes, rivers and oceans. Most end up breaking down into tiny toxic bits causing further damage.
